It's obvious you love your brother very much. I know it must be very difficult to forge ahead through the holiday season without him. I wish you and your family peace and comfort through this difficult time. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Thank you Mom #1! He was my hero to the very end. I am better now, I know he is still here beside me, to love me and listen when I need him.
I hope that your brother's family has a great support system right now. Reading your blog, it just sounds like it is so INTENSE right now, just intense grief and also joy at the new little one coming Monday. I hope you are able to hold things together over the weekend and I imagine Buck as always is very supportive!
Everyone is surrounded. It is very intense, as I think I said in one post. This is the first time we have lost someone that wasn't sick for a very long time, when it wasn't expected. He was just down the road. I think we are all still in shock. This has been the worst few days of my life, by far. Today is better though. I am holding it together for the children who are to young to understand any of this.
Buck is my rock ! I don't know how I could do this without him. I am so grateful for him, wouldn't trade him for anything. :-)
